Note that when I dug this small pond about 15 years ago, all I knew about building a pond was how to dig a hole with a shovel. That should explain the ugly thing it now is. Since the time I dug the hole, I have learned how not to properly build a pond as well as how to do it properly.

My next pond in Calvin will be larger and much more natural looking. I just hope I’m not too old to get it all done properly after I move there.
